Womens Lacrosse and Men's and Women's Hockey players and coaches can
experience a guaranteed warm summer playing and coaching a sport they love!
Academy International will be in Edinburgh next month to meet anyone with an
interest in a 6-week tour of the USA that starts in July.

Selected player/coaches will fly to Washington DC to attend training
seminars before visiting a different city each week coaching either lacrosse
or hockey. Academy International pays the upfront cost of the airfare and
all expenses in the US, plus weekly wages. Its a great way to see the states
while staying with some friendly American host families each week.

with Active Schools

Active Schools helps to create over hundreds of physical activity opportunities every day for young people, children and their families across Edinburgh. Active School volunteers are essential to the success of these physical activity opportunities and encouraging people to be more active more often.

Would you like to help a child or young person learn a new sport or physical activity? Would you like to gain teaching experience and sport qualifications? Would you like to get involved in the management and administration aspect of Active Schools? Would you like to volunteer with an organisation that involves people in high quality volunteering opportunities? You do not need any experience, just lots of enthusiasm!

As our volunteers are so important to children and young people in Edinburgh and to the success of Active Schools we hugely value their help whether it is assisting at after school clubs, one-off events, curriculum programmes or administration and marketing support.
