Introduction
Sport at Edinburgh are delighted to announce that the University's inaugural multi-sport World Cup will take place on Wednesday 28th March. This is your chance to represent the country of the choice at a University-wide multi-sport event! The event, delivered with support from Edinburgh Global and EUSA, will take place across the University campus, at a variety of the University's sports' facilities (Peffermill; Pleasance; St Leonard's Land).
The Sports
The four sports that will run throughout the day are: badminton, football, netball & squash. Each individual / team should only enter one sport, as the tournamnets will run at the same time, with further details below.

How can you get involved?
We are looking for participants for all sports. Sign-up can be accessed here.
For the team sports you can enter a team to represent the nation of your choice! There is absolutely no requirement for you to be born in, or be from, the country your represent - feel free to join a friend and help them represent their country! If you are struggling to find the numbers to make up a team you can visit our Facebook event, and ask for support, or if that doesn't work out you can submit an individual entry. We'll try to add you to the country of your choice - however, this does depend on entry numbers within your chosen sport.
What's Incuded?
- FREE sign-up
- Open to all - from beginner to experienced players.
- Each individual will receive a t-shirt / top to wear on the day, as part of the event.
- Afterparty, at central location - with FREE food!
- A celebration of the diversity, and range of cultures, that exist within the University.
