EUSSC X EDex Learn to Ski/ Board in a Day

New people, new place, new sport: It can feel difficult joining one of Edinburgh University Sports club, but hear at EUSSC we’re all about bringing fresh faces into snowsports!

That’s why we’ve once again teamed up with our partners at EDex to give you an opportunity to learn the skill that’ll last a lifetime & meet the friends that’ll be there just as long.

What is it?

The learn to ski/ board in a day program is a unique day event organised to take you through a series of progression to provide you with all the basic skills you’d need to hit the slopes for real.

Where/When?

• 25^th of November
• Pick up will be at George square, coaching will take place at Midlothian Ski Centre, Hillend

What’s Included?

• Return travel between George Square & Hillend
• Equipment Hire
• Lift-pass
• 5 Hours of Tuition with BASI Qualified Instructors

How much?

• £35 - tickets will be on-sale via this event from 1st November.
• This is 65% of Hillend’s normal price

Who will be there?

• EUSSC’s committee members (some of which instruct there)
• Current team members
• Those who are learning for this years Christmas trip
• Those who have booked on through EDex
• Disability Snowsports UK (running a taster session for Adaptive Skiing)

Please note this event is for non-EUSSC members. This truly is a fantastic chance to get to know a huge mixture of people who are involved with EUSSC, while taking part in an activity we are all very passionate about. We’re a chatty bunch & can’t wait to see you there!!
