Club Membership

As the sports clubs at the University manage their own programme for the year and their own costs, they each charge a different rate of membership fee to their club.

Some memberships fees include the entire programme cost for a year so the fee you pay at the start covers you for the rest of the academic year; others may require top up fees throughout the year on a semi 'pay as you play' basis.

It is important to clarify with the individual club what the membership provides and what it doesn't.

Sport & Exercise Membership and Sports Club Facility Use 2020/21

University Sport & Exercise provides training, fixture and storage facilities for over 40 EUSU Sport Clubs at Pleasance, Peffermill and St Leonard’s Land. EUSU and Sport & Exercise work closely to prioritise and arrange training and fixtures times for Clubs, rather than each of club having to arrange these sessions individually. This allows you to concentrate on playing and training without having to worry about arranging training and fixture facilities.

In lieu of facility charges, we ask to club members who use of facilities to purchase a Semester membership. This gives use of facilities for training and fixtures PLUS access to a world class gym and fitness offer.
