Volunteer Hours Project
The aim of the Volunteer Hours Project is to track and record the number of volunteering hours completed by all members of Edinburgh University Sports Clubs. We want to create an accurate record of all volunteering hours to showcase the value and importance of all sports union members here at Edinburgh!
What can be included in volunteering hours?
Each week, we ask Sports Club Secretaries (on behalf of all club members) to submit this form with your club's weekly volunteer hours.
The 'Volunteer Hours Leaderboard' will be updated every Monday at 3pm, so check out the leaderboard to see how well your club is doing! (eusu_cva)
At the end of each semester, the top 3 clubs with the most volunteering hours will recieve an exclusive reward!
We have added a 'Volunteering Certification' of bronze, silver and gold. Once a club has reached a certain amount of volunteering hours they will be awarded ‘[level] certification’. These volunteering certifications can be used in sports ball 'Club of the Year' applications. The certification is a great demonstrator a clubs hard work and commitment.
- Bronze Certification - 250 hours
- Silver Certification - 500 hours
- Gold Certification - 1,000 hours
Congratulations to the following clubs for acheiving Bronze Level Certification: Netball Club, Tennis Club, Trampoline Club, Hillwalking Club, Kendo Club and Badminton Club
