Hi, I'm Jack, a 4th-year Astrophysics student at the university. I was previously Media Officer in 2019/20 and I have a large amount of experience taking photos professionally as well as in videography not only for individuals but also for the university. 

Manifesto: 

As Media Officer I would ensure: 

• A stronger channel of communication between SU Staff, Exec, and the Media Team, allowing projects to be worked on more efficiently. This would be achieved by giving members of the Media Team more defined roles, ensuring individuals know their responsibilities as well as allowing those not in the Media Team to know who to contact regarding specific questions. 

• A focus on providing more content from all avenues of sport, including sports outside of BUCS fixtures, promoting all clubs' sporting achievements at the university. 

• Weekly Media Team meetings - all documented on MS Teams for easy access - where plans for the coming week can be discussed. 

• A renewed drive to ensure all types of coverage from large sporting events such as Varsity, including photography, video production, Instagram stories, livestreaming, etc.
