Election Address:
Hi, I’m Alexandra (she/her), a 3rd year geophysics student, and I’m excited to be running for the role of Wellbeing and Inclusion Officer. As a member of the Archery club and committee, I’ve seen firsthand how sport can create a sense of community and belonging.
I have spent many years working on teams and campaigns that promote inclusion, with a focus on improving the experiences of disabled students, d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing students, and LGBT+ students.
I’m passionate about ensuring every member feels supported and empowered by Edinburgh’s sporting community. If elected, I’ll work hard to address accessibility gaps and promote wellbeing initiatives, ensuring that sport remains a welcoming and inclusive space for all.
