Drive forward the Sports Union inclusion agenda, through chairing Sports Union Inclusion Committee and monitoring relevant data.

The Vice President Intramural Sport plays a very important role in the development and management of EUSU’s successful Intramural Sport programme. Working closely with the Intramural Sport Coordinator and the Sports Union’s Sports Coordinators as well as chairing the Intramural Sport Committee. This is a great role for someone looking to get closely involved in running sport at Edinburgh.

Overseeing the financial arrangements of all UoE Sports Clubs, assisting and trouble shooting where necessary.

Responsible for Sports Union records and communications – minutes of discussion, planning and achievement from all meetings – with the help of the Sports Coordinator (Transport & Administration).

Overall responsibility for the organisation and delivery of the Sports Union’s Intramural Programme. Support and work with the Intramural Sport officers. This includes leading on the delivery of their training.

Shared responsibility for the publicity and media of all facets of the Sports Union, through a number of channels. Chair of a Sports Union Media Team and liaison with the Intramural Media Officer.

Support the training of wellbeing and inclusion officers within SU clubs. Develop and deliver campaigns that promote sport at Edinburgh as inclusive and welcoming. Act as a point of contact for clubs on wellbeing and/or inclusion enquiries.

Assist clubs in the planning, event and following review of their Alumni days. Maintain strong links between the Sports Union and Alumni. Supporting clubs and sports union in obtaining and maintaining partnerships with appropriate charities and other organisations.

Organise the activities of the International Sports Club and support clubs in hosting recreational sessions. Work to grow participation projects and deliver participation-focussed events through the year.
