Aitana Verdú Schlie - Edinburgh University Volleyball Club - SVL Secretary, W2 Coach, Beach Coach
We’d love to congratulate to Aitana Verdú Schlie, Secretary for the Volleyball Club, Women's 2nds coach and beach volleyball coach, as she is our October 2020 winner of the CVA Member of the Month award. She has been nominated by her Club as an invaluable asset consistently going above and beyond in every respect. In the Club’s efforts to adapt to COVID-19, Aitana sought out a partnership with the Edinburgh Beach Volleyball and has since then fully established EUVC’s own beach volleyball programme. Furthermore, she coaches three different teams a week all while being a dedicated committee member and Women’s 1 player herself. Throughout all this, she has been an outstanding leader in promoting COVID-19 related safety and an incredible support to the rest of the coaches, committee members and players.
