This year is a better time than ever to become a part of one of the biggest and best clubs in Edinburgh! Having grown massively in recent years, we offer badminton for all abilities. Whether you’re a complete beginner and fancy some friendly games and coaching, or a regular player and want to try out for one of our many competitive teams, our club will be thrilled to have you.
For those just looking to come along and have a laugh, we have many socials! We hold weekly gatherings at Greenmantle alongside bigger socials throughout the year, including families night, bowling, pub quizzes or flat crawls! The families social will take place at the start of the year and will give you a great chance to meet all of the brilliant members of the club.
On a more competitive note, our five mixed teams compete in the Scottish leagues with two teams in the top two divisions. We also have a great number of teams competing in the local Edinburgh league. There are, therefore, plenty of opportunities to compete for the university! If you fancy trying your luck for one of the 6 teams, head down to trials which will be held on Friday 13th of September 2019 More details to be released closer to the date!
So whether you have never held a racquet in your life or you fancy yourself a bit of a hotshot, come along to our club and we guarantee you won’t want to leave. Like us on Facebook, join our group and follow us on Instagram to make sure you’re totally up to date with the club. Or also check out our website: http://eubc.eusu.ed.ac.uk/
