Our gymnasts range from complete beginners to former competitive gymnasts! We offer up to 12 hours of training a week during the Edinburgh University academic year including general gymnastics, display practice and conditioning sessions. There are also regular competitions throughout the year for members who wish to compete. No previous experience is necessary.
So whether you are looking for a fun active afternoon or a chance to compete, this is the University Sports Club for you.
All our sessions are open to all abilities and you can come to as many of our training sessions as you wish.
Tuesday 07:15-08:15: conditioning/circuits session
Wednesday 13:00-16:00: coached training/Workshop Wednesday
Thursday 19:00-22:00: coached training
Friday 17:00-19:00: display rehearsal or conditioning/circuits
Saturday 12:00-15:00: coached training (usually more relaxed)/Skill Saturday
All of our sessions run in Gym 3 at St Leonard's Land.
Note: Training in September, including taster sessions, may be altered due to social distancing restrictions. Please keep checking our social media, website, and the Sports Union website for information.
