Our members range from complete beginners to former competitive gymnasts. We offer up to 12 hours of training a week during the Edinburgh University academic year including general gymnastics, display practice and conditioning sessions. There are also regular competitions throughout the year for members who wish to compete. No previous experience is necessary!
So whether you are looking for a fun active afternoon or a chance to compete, this is the University Sports Club for you.

Join us outdoors for a Gymnastics EDex session! This session is free and open to all Edinburgh Uni students, you don't need to have a gymnastics club membership. If you would like to attend, please sign up here. Our coaches will take you through a mixture of conditioning, flexibility, strength, and basic gymnastics outdoors in the Meadows on Tuesday 13th April 5-6pm. Suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced gymnasts. No equipment is necessary, but if you have a yoga mat or something similar please bring that along!
Training times (when indoor training is permitted):
All our sessions are open to all abilities. Initially there will be session capacity restrictions for in-person coached training sessions, however once capacity is increased you may attend as many of our training sessions as you wish.
Tuesday 07:45-08:45: Zoom conditioning/circuits session with EUTC
Wednesday 13:00-14:30 and 14:30-16:00: coached training*
Thursday 19:00-20:30 and 20:30-22:00: coached training*
Friday 17:00-18:30: coached training**
Saturday 12:00-13:30 and 13:30-15:00: coached training*
Sunday 09:00-10:30: coached training
TBC: Zoom display practice
All of our in-person sessions run in Gym 3 at St Leonard's Land.
* Will be combined into one 3 hour session once restrictions allow.
** Will become in-person display practice and be extended to 17:00-19:00 once restrictions allow.
Note: Training in September, including taster sessions, may be altered due to social distancing restrictions. Please keep checking our social media, club website, and the Sports Union website for information.

If you plan on attending competitions, taking part in display (music video style this year), or attending external training, then you must purchase a 'Plus' membership, as this covers the cost of your British Gymnastics membership.

Please be aware, to join this club you must have purchased a Sport & Exercise Gym Membership, which is available HERE.
Members wishing to attend training on a Pay As You Go basis must buy an initial PAYG Basic or Plus membership. Sessions will then be charged at £6 per 3 hour session, adjusted proportionally for shorter sessions. Online sessions will be charged at half the standard PAYG rate.
EUGC and EUTC members who purchase both our PAYG Plus membership and Trampoline's Gymnastics Add On membership must agree to the Terms and Conditions detailed on EUTC's page.
