EUHWC is one of the biggest sports clubs in the university and caters for all abilities.
We offer students the chance to experience hiking, scrambling and winter walking (using ice axes, crampons etc) in one of Europe's last great wildernesses, the Scottish Highlands. Roughly every two weeks the club escapes to the mountains either on daytrips or weekend trips, based in youth hostels. We meet in the pub weekly, and have a variety of other socials throughout the year. We welcome established outdoor enthusiasts as well as enthusiastic newcomers.
