Our aim is to ensure that those who identify as part of the LGBT+ community feel welcome and part of our Sports Union, at all times and without exception. Throughout February (LGBT+ History Month) and in the lead up to #BurghVarsity2018, we put a real emphasis on ensuring that 'sport is everyone's game.' See below for details on exactly how we achieved this.

 

1st of February: LGBT+ Inclusivity Training, delivered to 55 of our clubs, by Stonewall Scotland.

 

Throughout: Our club committee members spoke about inclusivity within their clubs.

      

 

25th February: Over 50 participants at our LGBT+ Rainbow Run 5km.
