2023/24 Polo Club President, Maisie Cain:
“The club is growing in size and popularity due to its creative socials, friendly environment, and welcoming nature to riders of all abilities. The club is unique as it facilitates a chance for beginner polo riders to compete at the national level whilst falling in love with the sport. We are trying to remove the associated stigma of polo being an exclusive sport, and want to encourage everyone to come and give it a shot! Lessons are cheap and accessible to all, and we are always supporting beginner matches and development! Overall, we aim to create a unique Polo experience in which the riders develop a unique relationship with horses and the sport.”
2022/23 Polo Club President, Alexandra Stewart:
What are your best memories of the club this last year?
“Winning the Intermediate SUPA Summer Nationals this year was the perfect way to round off my polo experience at Edinburgh! I have also really enjoyed the fancy dress at polo socials, along with our amazing Edinburgh Polo Ball in the National Museum of Scotland!”
