On the 23rd of November, the EUJJC and our sister clubs from Edinburgh headed down to Sheffield to represent our region at the Atemi Nationals: the largest Jiu Jitsu event in the country with more than 750 jitsuka from all over the UK. The Atemis span an entire weekend, with training, competitions, and a huge party on Saturday, and more training and competitions the very next day!

We were in full force this year, with a total of 12 EUJJC BUCS entrants. The whole team showed a great performance! Our president, Paul, even won the Gold medal in his category. The Atemis gives us the opportunity to train, not only with senseis and jitsuka from around the country, but also with our old team mates who have moved on to other clubs nationally, some even internationally. Together, the Edinburgh region did outstandingly well.

It turned out to be an amazing weekend all around!
