A number of EUSU Clubs are fortunate to benefit from the world class University sports facilities for training, recreational sessions and matches.

The Edinburgh Sport Membership model sees individual club members, of clubs who play and train at Edinburgh Sport venues (listed below), purchase a Full Year Edinburgh Sport membership.

By being part of the Edinburgh Sport membership model, Clubs are not charged per use of each facility. As each member of the club purchases an Edinburgh Sport membership, this covers all facility fees for Club sessions, whilst also granting each member unlimited access to Edinburgh Sport's gym service, member swims and group exercise classes within operating hours.

This model is designed to provide extensive access to high-quality sporting facilities, at affordable rates for Clubs and their members. Without this model, clubs would be paying considerable costs for their bookings, and as a result Club membership fees would likely be much higher.

Over the last 3 years clubs have benefited from significant investment in facilities, playing kits and extended operating hours. Some examples include:

  • Hockey Pitch Surface Replacements
  • Strathclyde Boat Store
  • St Leonards Land Halls
  • St Leonards Land Freeweights Gym
  • Multi-Use Games Areas Resurfacing Works

Over this academic year (2026/27) our clubs will benefit from significant investment in Peffermill including:

  • 3G2 replacement
  • Hockey 1 replacement
  • x2 New 5G pitches, as part of the Cameronbank development
