What made the club so special to you?
It was my ‘escape’ every Wednesday afternoon with a different group of people than those on my course. Always great fun as well as good exercise!
What is your favourite memory of the club?
My favourite event was the Burns Supper events – always a laugh and a riot!
Jamie Rankin, 2022/23 Curling Club President:
“My favourite thing about our club is how inclusive it is. We have such a wide range of abilities from people who are complete beginners, to members who have curled their whole lives. Curling is such a great sport for people wanting to try something new and the uni club is perfect for giving it a shot in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere. In the past few years, we have enjoyed success in the university league and open championship and thanks to the development of our newer players I hope this success will continue”.
