At EUEC we are excited to be able to offer lessons at two riding schools in order to cater for all abilities! Our Novice, Intermediate and Advanced lessons are at ‘Tower Farm Riding Stables’, and our beginner lessons are at ‘Edinburgh & Lasswade Riding Centre’ with both centres having a variety of horses/ponies to ensure that the horse you ride is suitable for you and your capability. Our lesson times, costs and ability required for each group are detailed on our social media pages and sign up info will be released on a weekly basis throughout the semester so make sure to follow us using the links below!

For those who are more competitive, we also have 4 teams competing in the British University and College Sports (BUCS) Leagues. Our teams compete against other Scottish Universities, aiming to qualify for the BUCS National Championships each year, with our A-team becoming National Champions in the 2022/23 season!
Unlike most equestrian competitions BUCS is unique as we are required to ride unknown horses! Each show, competitors will ride two horses, one through a novice level dressage test and another through a show jumping course with points combined for the final standings. As own horses are not required, BUCS is a great way to keep up riding at university, while meeting lots of other horsey people! For those interested, there will be opportunities to sign up during the first weeks of semester 1 with trials being held from w/c 25th September!
This year we will be training at Tannoch Valley Equestrian with our training sessions split between Monday and Tuesday evenings, and are mandatory for team members.

Should an individual require a refund – this can only be done by the club you have joined in cash or cheque (at their own discretion). The Sports Union Membership cannot be refunded, and neither can the transaction fee.
