Welcome to EUTTC! We are the largest university table tennis club in Scotland with multiple competition level teams in different leagues, also offering a range of sessions for all skill levels. Previous members have ranged from beginners looking to hone their skills, to seasoned athletes who look at ease on the table, currently home to the Scottish national women's champion!
Our club truly caters to all and provides a friendly and relaxed atmosphere as well as a little healthy competition. We run regular socials from post-match pub nights and bowling nights to our annual awards night!
Membership:
We require members to purchase their preferred membership package in order to attend sessions and participate in competitions. All options can be found on the right hand side of this page or under the "products" tab.
Step 1: Because we operate in St. Leonard's Land Gym, you must purchase a Sport & Exercise Peak Gym Membership available HERE.
Step 2: All members must have one of our standard main memberships: Full Year (£35) or One Semester Only (£20).
Step 3: If you have made it into one of our league teams, you will also need our 'Team Top-Up'; an additional fee on top of the Standard Memberships.
Full Year (+£35) or Semester 2 Only (+£20).
If you are not part of a local league team: We are also offering a Recreational Membership at £35 per semester or £60 for the year as a more affordable option.
This would restrict you to ONLY Monday's Beginner's Coaching and Open Sessions, but you will not need to purchase a gym membership or team add-on.
Please contact the club if you are unsure about our memberships!
Competitions:
BUCS is how universities compete against each other throughout the UK. We have 3 mens and 3 womens teams who compete at the highest level in the league (Premier North, Scottish 1A) and cups (BUCS Championship & Trophy).
We also have 7 mixed teams playing in the local Edinburgh League so there are regular opportunities to improve and play fixtures against other clubs! This has a vast range of abilities so it is definitely worth coming down to our trials.
We will also be offering our annual club competitions from club championships, beginner tournaments and big table tennis tournaments.

Intramural (IMS) Table Tennis:
New for 2023/24 - Intramural Table Tennis is a fantastic way for beginner and recreational players to participate in some fun competition.
What? - IMS Table Tennis is of a league of teams, each with 2-4 players. These teams will play 2v2 matches against other teams in the league. We only allow beginner or recreational standard - there is a blanket ban on anybody who belongs to one of our 7 local ELTTL teams!
When? - These matches are played in our Monday Open session between 8:30-10pm. This is immediately after our Beginner Training (7-8:30pm) which all IMS players are encouraged to participate in! Matches will start from Monday 16th October.
Where? - Each week will take place in the Dance Studio @ St Leonards Land, EH8
How? - Register to be part of a team using this link. If you have a team in mind, register as a group; if you are looking to be part of a team, register as an individual and we will help you find a team. You will need any one of our club memberships; a recreational membership or standard club membership both work.
Why? - Whether you're looking to show off the skills you've learnt at our beginner training, making some new friends being part of a team or just playing some low commitment competitive table tennis, our Monday sessions are a fun and friendly environment open to all :)
