Intramural Sport

The Sports Union currently offers 8 sports as part of the Intramural Sport programme.

The University is proud to boast the largest Intramural Sport programme in Scotland. Our Intramural Sport programme offers a more relaxed alternative to club sport and is open to anyone - individuals, groups of friends, postgraduates and international students alike. Many Intramural teams are affiliated with academic schools/subjects so you can play alongside people who have similar interests.

Entries for the Intramural Sport programme for 2023/24 are now live! You can find them on the Products Tab here. 

If you would like to play but do not have a team, register your interest by filling in this form.

There are two awards that Intramural Teams are eligible to apply for.

Intramural Sport Committee

 

Intramural Sport wouldn't happen without our dedicated team of student volunteers, our Intramural Sport Committee, supported by our Sports Coordinator: Competitions, Polly Pearse.

 

Become a referee or umpire:

We offer several part-time paid roles as referees or umpires within our Intramural Sport programme. 

• To register your interest as an already qualified referree or umpire please contact the IMS Officer for your sport
• There are also sport specific referree/ umpire courses, please contact the IMS Officer to register your interest
