Hey guys, I'm Dan, your Vice President Intramural for this year. I am in my fourth and final year, studying Sustainable Development. This is my second year on exec, following on from my position as Intramural Sports Coordinator last year. 

Sport is such an important part of my university experience, having been involved in Intramural Rugby and as a Goalkeeper for the Football Club and IM 5-a-side matches. I am excited to build on the success of last year, winning Intramural Team of the Year and raising £5,716 for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, including our second annual Doddie Day with a charity match and black-tie fundraiser.

Intramural Sport is such a great way to get involved in Sport and this is why I stood to be on exec, hoping to continue to promote the growth of the programme and support team's development. While IM is the more relaxed and lower commitment side of the SU, I believe the value from the programme is unmatched and the quality of sport, as well as the competitiveness creates an excellent environment. My goal this year is to champion the programme and secure its long-term future as a key part of the SU ecosystem. We can achieve this by bolstering support for IM teams, financially, through supportive training for captain's and increasing participation in the programme.

This year, I am also supporting our wonderful SU President, Connie, in all of her goals and look forward to working together to ensure the SU represents all clubs and athletes to the best of our ability to create a buzz around Sport at Edinburgh.
